Mr Robin Ho graduated from the University of Nottingham, UK with a Masters of Business Administration (Financial Studies).
An experienced people developer and business development professional, Robin specialises in relationship-building, communications and training.
His latest endeavour involved working on a social enterprise project to provide low-cost, high-value, motivational and enrichment learning opportunities for underprivileged and under-achieving youths.
He has diverse industry experiences which include Education (Private & Public Schools), Design (Interior & Graphic), E-Learning (K-12), Workplace Safety & Health (Marine, Oil & Gas, Construction), Spa & Beauty, Sports and Fitness, Security & Surveillance, Manpower & Recruitment, Pharmaceutical, as well as Seminars and Events Management.
Robin is most passionate about Human Relations, Health, Fitness and Learning.
He is the Vice-Principal (Academic) of Inspiration Design International School and he teaches Design Communications.

THE VISUAL LANGUAGE OF INTERIOR DESIGN
Synopsis
Participants will enter the world of visual images, where they will begin to see the meanings and messages behind the styles and decorative images one encounters today. They will discover the inner workings of interior design and understand the essential elements of design that enables one to identify what to look for when observing design in the world around us to better understand design. They will also gain the insights needed to be a first rate interior designer, by using this new knowledge to create their own designs with enhanced flair and creativity.
The course will include the definition, interpretation , application and evaluation of design elements such as scale, texture, tone, harmony, rhythm and connotations of space, to enhance visual literacy. This will enhance the participants’ awareness of design elements and how they are applied, in the broader sense, in the everyday world.
The course will also cover the essential underpinning knowledge, skills and attitudes required to establish criteria for the appropriate and effective evaluation of designs including aesthetic considerations, social and cultural context, and exploration of the narrative of design through a critical evaluation of existing examples.
Aim of the Course
To develop observation, interpretation and analytical skills to facilitate the exploration of design principles in a theoretical and applied approach. The course also aims to provide students with knowledge, skills and the necessary attitudes to increase their range and variety of creative options in the process of conceptualising, developing and justifying creative concepts for interior design projects.
Learning Objectives
Participants who successfully complete the program will be able to:

Develop and apply research criteria to analyse and critically evaluate selected designs.

Synthesise and apply strategies for developing and exploring creative design options.

Produce a creative interior design solution for a commercial and residential interior.
